It's obvious this guy cares only about himself. I understand being upwardly mobile and the lure of your "dream" job, but how about some commitment to your players and employer.
I hope he's happy there because, with his track record, I can't imagine another university buying his act.

Pitt to hire its 4th coach in 13 months. The two big PA football schools are in a world of hurt.

I believe that it is exactly what they asked Nick Saban when he left the Dolphins "high & dry" and took the Alabama job. I guess Alabama wasn't concerned about how unprofessional he was in exiting his Miami commitment.
Teach-able moment?
Posters on here consistently advise newer posters to not get too hung up on the coach when picking a school. In other words, pick the school first, as if baseball may not be in the picture at some point in college.
Same advice applies here I think. Pick the school as if the coach may not be there at some point while you're at school. In other words, be happy with the school first.

They are having a lot of fun with this here in Tucson.
That he was ASU's fourth choice. It's his fourth head coaching job in six years. The 6-6 record at Pitt. And the text message good-bye...
Of course ASU could hire Vince Lombardi and the only thing we'd point out is that he's 'dead'....
And a lot of people don't think RichRod is much of a catch either....
