I have heard that SS from Rockwall Heath, Lefty from Mesquite Poteet and catcher from Rockwall HS have received invitations

How many at bats or innings to players get at this event? I thought that there was already high school all star games in select baseball. Right? How many scouts will attend this event or is it just an opportunity for all district players to hang our with parents in the stands?

The THSBCA All Star game is a 9 inning game in which the entire lineup, approx 21 players (2 at each position plus pitchers), bats. Players at the bottom of the order get 2 maybe 3 at bats. Pitchers throw no more than 2 innings. Position players rotate with the starter playing 1,3,5,7 and 9. I don't know if many scouts attend, but it is quite an honor to be selected as there are 42 1A-3A players representing about 700 schools or 96 districts. 4A-5A players represent 64 districts.

Does anyone know if the association puts out a press release to the local communities of the players? Or are the schools and/or parents supposed to let the media know?
