Has anyone had a problem with this, I know it is a point of emphasis. I have not this year. Also have you had any problems with coaches outside the batters box?

We handle it by never referring to the buckets. "Skip, you can't be in live ball territory," usually works.

Yes. It's a habit I developed when I first started working college games...Skip is short for Skipper and many college coaches prefer that to "coach." It also worked well in my limited work in the minors where calling a manager a coach will result in your life being a living hell for the rest of the game.

We have one problem school. I had them the other day, a kid pulled a bucket out in the top of the first, I told the manager to get rid of him and that we weren't doing this today. Not another problem the rest of the day with players or coaches.
