I have been working on a coaching blog since June, and I'd like to share it with all of you. I have read what a lot of you have had to say on here, and I know there are many excellent baseball minds around these boards. I'd love to get some feedback, and I think there are some good discussion pieces. Also, if anyone ever has some ideas for posts, I would welcome them. I am trying to stay away from technical aspects of the game (although I will eventually get to them) and concentrate more of tactical and philosophical aspects of coaching.

Read the blog and you were spot on. I had to laugh a little bit because I felt as if I had written that blog. I to became a head coach at 23 and went to through the same issues. I also saw things differently when I had a child. Keep up the work and I truly mean it when I say if there is anything I can do let me know.

Since the weather has been so bad here in the Midwest, I have had plenty of time to write.  My most recent articles are on "what should be important to youth coaches", "using radar guns during bullpen sessions,: "creating challenges in practice," "running tryouts," "using tactical games in baseball practice," and "coaching code of ethics."

Hope you enjoy, and can apply some of this to your teams.
