Team One used to be one of the best HS showcase out there along with Area Code Games from 1993-2000. But things changed alot in 2001, first the MLB scouts boycott at Team One Nationals and Regional Showcases.

And alot more HS Showcases popping up.East Coast Pro Showcase took alot of their business too.
Perfect Game took alot of the best players that used to attend Team One Showcases. Mainly because Team One made some major marketing blunders, First moving the Team One Nationals from Late June to September, later moved back to late summer. Also not using wood bats. Perfect Game Nationals were in June and wood bats.

Team One was sold to Baseball Factory in 2005 and Team One is really Baseball Factory now. Most of the staff comes from Baseball Factory.

As for the All American List, it is just an All Star Team from Players that attended Team One or Baseball Factory. YOu have to attend Team One or Baseball Factory in order to be listed
I know of at least one player who NEVER has attended a Team One or Baseball Factory event, and yet was invited to the UA-AA event. He got a "Congratulations, you're an All American!" letter.

However, after he chose not to pay, and therefore not to attend, his name was not listed among the "All Americans." This experience matches with that of another player I have seen discussed on this site, in another thread.

My conclusions are that this event was NOT limited to TO/BBF showcasers, but it WAS limited to those who paid.

There's probably a great business opportunity there, if I could only cash in ....
