College Players Working at Summer Camps??????

A word of caution to all parents of college players. If your son is lining up summer work at a baseball camp be sure to check with your collegs AD on all the many rules that apply to that kind of employment. The rules vary from D-1, D-2 and D-3.

I suggest you clear all jobs like that with the AD yourselves rather then the coach. Not all coaches are up to date on the rules and a mistake in advising your son in this area can have disastrous results.

It's that time of year again.

This issue will always be a concern for me. Parents be sure to get all the details covered with your college Athletic Director, not the coach.
