College Season starts

Methodist College started it's season on Saturday in Fayetteville, NC with a 2 to 1 win against Lynchburg College. It was a cool 43 degrees in Fayetteville. This game was the first in Coach Tom Austin's 25th Season at Methodist. Congratulations Coach Austin - Go Monarchs!

Is Coastal picked to top the Big South this season? How bout Winthrop or CSU?

24Karm- Yes, Coastal was picked to win the Big South this year, and they have a preseason ranking of 33. But, Winthrop has a great team and great coaching. Coach Hudak is a winner. I think it will come down to the wire as it did last year. Not sure about CSU. Should be an interesting season in the Big South.

Gimmie a break.......High Point?

The fence in RF is only like 95ft. away from the plate. A pop up past first base is a HR. They should recruit all lefties and win every home game they play.

yer baacckk. I highly doubt that High Point will be that good regardless of what you think of the recruiting class they just signed.

It's a long way from the bottom to the top...Not impossible, but improbable BUT I do agree with 24 K, it is a beautiful campus, and they are moving in the right direction.
