There are a few sites college folks tend to check on. Each school will have a few fan message boards. Alot of them are hosted on Scout.com. You'll need to bump around google to find the active boards. UNC-CH has a few I'm sure.

You can check nationwide scores by conference daily with links to boxes and live webcasts on http://www.ncaa-baseball.com/

Some of the most fun was listening to the radio broadcasts from around the south. You sorta get to "know" the announcers and the team through the broadcasts before you see them in person much. Seeing them in person after listening to a dozen games is like going from mono to dolby stereo 5.1. What is really great is that most games are video webcast now.

Oh. I'd log in at www.travelocity.com too.

What fun you will have. It was a blast for our family.

I like the rivals site, sebaseball.com.

Scout.com and rivals.com should each have a site for UNC, with message boards. Sometimes parents identify themselves. When the season heats up, fans taunt each other, it's really a riot sometimes.
The ACC has a great website, no message boards but there you can get all stats on players from every team and press releases, player/pitcher of the week, etc. The content is pulled from the teams websites. ACC live allows you to watch conference games for a small fee, you can sign up for your son's team only or all of the games in teh confereence, it's very inexpensive. We had no clue at first (year) and listened to games on yahoo, paying, until we realized that there was a Tiger network to listen to, streaming from the local radio station for FREE.

I know this is more than you asked, but you will have plenty to keep you updated when season begins and still be able to post here on the HSBBW. Big Grin

I agree 100% with TPM. The message board can get a little "heated". I still read my son's college board from time to time. If your son is struggling you might want to pass on the boards for a few days until he has a good game. Smile

sebaseball.com is a good site for those in the Southeaster US.

Good question. I know for certain that my subscription with sebaseball.com also allows access to Rivals.com. I am not sure if it allows access to every Rivals affiliation however (e.g., football Rivals). Also, I believe there are many state-specific Rivals sites regarding highschool recruiting and preps news that you may need a seperate subscription for. Not sure about that however.
