Colleges changing divisions

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if you guys had any insight on this. I have always been interested in schools changing divisions. My cousin entered UC Davis in 2009, either the 1st or 2nd year of their D1 switch into competition. It worked out great for him, got an opportunity to start as a freshman on a D1 team, when not too many other schools were looking at him. Now he is projected to be a top 10 rounder in this years draft. Anyways, I was wondering if you guys could post a list or something of schools that either have changed to D1 (or any other division for that matter) in the recent past, are in the process of changing, or have changed this year. Be careful when following this route. A kid from our high school was recruited by a D3. The next year they decided to go D2 and recruited like crazy at his position (pitcher) leaving him in the back of the bullpen.
