The first link below will take you to a very interesting document listing the various petitions filed seeking to override the new NCAA rules. The document lists the various colleges and universities seeking to have the rules overridden, along with any comments filed with their requests.
The second link confirms that a large number of colleges are also seeking to override the new rule allowing 4 years scholarships, and are close to having enough votes to bring it to a vote. (The first document appears to be several weeks old, and does not list all of the schools supporting each proposal).
Several colleges have also petitioned to have the increased academic requirements overriden as well. However, it appears that there are only a handful of petitions on this issue. AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE? PGStaff,what do you make of this? Either we're misreading this rule or nobody else is paying attention.
