My thoughts and prayers go out to the baseball team, coaches, friends and family of the family that was killed.

I read about this in the news but did not realize the baseball connection until you posted this. The SUV that hit them was traveling the wrong direction on the highway. Thank you for making us aware of it....very sad that this family was killed.

This stuff always scares me. I've got kids from all over that travel distances to get too and from home...

I worry about them every time.

I guess I feel like my mom did back in the day...

"I'll be ok"

Then I sit up all night until I get the text message they made it.

Wow, how terrible. Thank you for posting this info. Makes you realize that life can be taken away at any moment on any day, and all the small stuff isn't worth all the hard ache. Most of us have probably traveled a lot in our baseball life, and you just never know.

Prayers for all those that knew this family.

Heartbreaking. I never ever get over reading stories like this. Prayers sent.

Unreal.....it just makes you think it can happen anytime to you or someone you love. You just never know. Prayers out to the families involved in the loss.

Think I will call my son right now and tell him that I love him.
