I have to thank all of the posters on this message board. It has given us a wealth of knowledge and has been instrumental in helping Jeff get a chance to play at the next level.

My son is proof that you don't have to be a top prospect to keep playing the game you love. Just be a solid kid who works hard and most importantly keep the grades up and prepare for the college placement tests.

Congratulations from a fellow Arizonan! Great job for the future Tiger. I noticed from one of your post about Hamline University (Div III in MN). I am not sure if this was one of Juniors Top 5 schools but they will be here in Tucson , AZ for some College Invitational Games 3/18 to 27/2011 at the Kino Sprots Complex.

Yes Hamline was a in his top 2. The coaching staff at Hmline seemed to be a good group. Coach Verdugo, former Sun Devil and Tucson native was the main reason we considered Hamline.

We ended up making 4 visits to Doane over the past Two years and it just felt like home.

Congratulations on your son's commitment to Doane. You were so kind to write and share your experience with me. I was wondering if he had made his decision yet. I missed your post and found it today.You must be so ecstatic knowing your son will be playing at the next level.Good luck to him and I will look forward to future posts from you talking of his college experience.
