Well, it finally happened. Son got an offer and committed to play D1 today. We visited Tuesday, had a great time and the coach told him he wanted to come see him one more time before making an offer. He came to watch yesterday....son went 2-3 with a 2B, 3B, 4 rbi's and also struck out 2 of the 3 kids he faced...and hit 87. Coach emailed last night and said "call tomorrow to talk about your future". He called today....got an offer and told him he was in. Great day for us.....can't tell you how relieved my son (and me) were to get this done....thought it would never happen. Good luck to everyone else still in the "process"....and thanks to everyone for answering questions, etc on here the past year or two.

Buckeye, congrats to you and your son. Not to steal any of your thunder, but my 2015 also verballed to his "dream" school on Tuesday afternoon. I completely understand the "relieved" comment. I feel exactly the same way. It was a long, stressful ride for us as well, but so many on this site have helped GREATLY. The lessons and advice given on this site are truly priceless. Again, congrats to your family and enjoy the ride.
Congrats to both players, great accomplishment.

Buckeye 2015,
Great news, congratulations.
Thank you....his performance at the 17WWBA is pretty much what ended up sealing the deal for him. He had good performances against some good teams down there. Even though the RC that signed him wasn't in GA, he knew what it meant to put on a good show against that kind of competition.
