Well, it finally happened. Son got an offer and committed to play D1 today. We visited Tuesday, had a great time and the coach told him he wanted to come see him one more time before making an offer. He came to watch yesterday....son went 2-3 with a 2B, 3B, 4 rbi's and also struck out 2 of the 3 kids he faced...and hit 87. Coach emailed last night and said "call tomorrow to talk about your future". He called today....got an offer and told him he was in. Great day for us.....can't tell you how relieved my son (and me) were to get this done....thought it would never happen. Good luck to everyone else still in the "process"....and thanks to everyone for answering questions, etc on here the past year or two.

He'll be playing at Bowling Green State University...it's less than an hour from home...and the other MAC schools are all within 2.5 to 3 hours so we'll get to see a lot of game without having to spend a ridiculous amount of time and money to get there. They were the last school that contacted him...but it just seemed like the right fit from the first time he talked to them. He's excited...I'm sure this next year is going to seem like it takes forever...because I know he is already itching to get there
