I hope this is ok. I've been thinking about it for a few days.

We teach our kids about committment and working hard to be able to play the game they love and follow their dream.

Many of you know Doc, who finally got a chance to head back to school to play. Before school began his mom became ill again and will not go back to school until next spring and will have to sit.

Doc, I admire your commitment to your family, that is the most important thing in life. I know times are tough now for you. Please let us know if there is anything your HSBBW family can do for you, you are a special person.

Doc,
I commend you. You know what's important. I know another young man, a swimmer not a ball player, who recently made a similar choice. He had a scholly to a big D1, his dream school, with times good enough for Olympic trials. He took a scholly to a smaller D3 to be close to his mother who is ill. He cried to his coach, but never in front of his parents. He loves the pool, but loves his mother more than anything.

Makes all us Moms want to shed a tear and hug our boys.
