In the past couple weeks had seen a number of crazy stuff questioning the sanity of many players.
1) 5th year seniors drafted and when asked about signing, respond I need to talk to my agent about that. WHY, you have ZERO to bargain with.
2) Graduating college seniors offered contracts at tryout camps and have to think about it or want a ton of money to sign. YOU HAVE NO LEVERAGE
3) Pitchers showing up to tryout camp on back to back days. Surprise suprise , MPH is way down on the 2nd day.
4) Players showing up out of shape to tryout camps. How difficult is it to stay in shape. Try throwing and running, and lay off the big macs for change.
5) Graduating college seniors have their mom call scouts. You are 21 call for yourself. Is your mom gonna call IBM to get you a job?
6) Crying about how a tryout camp is run. If you have any tools people will see it fast, If you can't play you know it even quicker.
7) Complaign no MLB scouts are coming to see you. Have you attended any HS Showcases or MLB tryout camps? Likley no, dont expect they will find you, you find them. That the whole purpose of a tryout camp.
