Too bad, I hope the players find a new place to play....
That's going to leave some kids and coaches scrambling I'm sure. That's too bad.
There are a lot of players listed on their rosters. I hope they can figure something out.
I did not see any announcements on that site. If you go by that site they are still open for business for 2016.
Still options for Coaches and Players to sign up.
I am not doubting the OP. I just wish they would update the site.
Many a league has never gotten off the ground because of lack of Host families or facilities to house players.
Either the league charges a fortune to house players in Hotels or they shut down. I would really hope that player housing was resolved before signing players.
My son is one of those players who is or was going to play with this league this summer. I have an email out to the commish, and if I hear something, I will post his response.
Sorry I have not posted this yet, but the league is definitely cancelled. Now comes the hustle to try to get my son in a different league.
Thats too bad. Looks like the league put the cart before the horse. You would hope they would have housing in place before setting up rosters.
I agree, Bishop. I was, however, with the help of a college teammate, able to get him hooked up with a different summer league.

Just saw this on Twitter and thought I'd post. Maybe an alternative for local kids that were looking to play in the CCL. Virginia is for Baseball Summer Collegiate League .
Bishop, he is most likely playing in Virginia Beach, but the post by phanatic is interesting. I'll let my son decide where he feels he will get the most benefit.
