EAST REGION BEAT WEST FOR CHAMPIONSHIP. WP DEAN ALI THREW CG

Team effort in every sense of the word

Gold - East
Silver - West
Bronze - North

Forgot to mention score was 5-4

First game for the East was against the West. Score was 1-5 in favor of West. Top of the 7th the game had too much rain/lightening suspended 5X. turned a 2 hour game into a six hour game. in the top of the 7th the East reeled off 9 runs to win the opener 10-5.

These guys were determined to win it all. Lost only to North in a 7-6 battle where an out of play ball did not move the runner who 1/2/ down the 3rd line. Blue made him go back to 3rd. Great stuff must hav been 75-100 scouts from everycollege around these parts and a few pro scouts.

Congrats to the players and coaches on bringing the championship back to the east. Now can we finally get someone to post a roster of all the kids on the team? Someone surely has it. I'd love to see rosters for all four teams, but am particularly interested in the East squad.

You are right , I looked back and the gold hasnt been with the east for a while...I agree with an earlier post about what a GREAT venue.Besides running over a skunk on the way there and almost hitting a deer in the road on the way back, I think it was well worth it. The exposure and venue was A+, and I highly recommend any player go!!! Way to go EAST!!!
