I saw DK pitch on television yesterday and he had unbelievable movement and command of his pitches. I am guessing that was the best performance of his career against a Florida State murder's row type of team. He is a well-spoken young man.

Not a true tourney but big congrats are in order for UC Riverside for securing the first Big West Conference of thei short D-1 history ... Riverside entered the BWC officially (after one year 'probationary membership') in 2002. They were in a regional in 2003 and have been in the top half of the conference finishes each year since. They played strong in conference this year, sweeping Cal State Fullerton and Cal State Long Beach, and secured the confernce title on Saturday with a win over 2nd place UC Irvine (a k a Bullwinkle's domain).
