Well the season is over for the Chattanooga State Tigers losing today to a resilient Temple (Texas) College 8-7.
It was a great ride that neither my son or I had expected last fall. To have the honor of making it to the College World Series is a treat and Grand Junction Colorado sure knows how to put on the show.
The whole town dives right in and makes a once in a lifetime memory even more special by the way they treat the players and families that come to this beautiful part of our country.
This trip was made even more special by what I woke up to this morning on the front page of their local paper....GJSentinel.

Opp's..... Yea the swollen eye was the result of a come backer to that pitcher. I was down the line but clearly heard it. suprised he got back up. I wont say anything about wood vs. metal. That one may have caught him no matter what. He falls off the mound and exposes himself to that.

Man, what an incredible ride it was and just seeing the guys get the chance to enjoy the honor of going to Grand Junction will last a lifetime!! Program has come a LONGGGGGG way and hope there is still some "UMMPPPPHHH" left in us to go a little further!!
