Sean Novak, a US Dependent player who grew up overseas in Tokyo, had a plan to walk on at Hawaii for several years. And guess what - he made it!

I never met the kid, but followed his HS career in the "Stars and Stripes" newspaper.

Gives hope to others, like my son, caught in the same "my dad works overseas" dilemma.

Way to go, Novak!! Have a great career at Hawaii!

Two teams have shown interest - a 16U and an 18U. The kid will have to make his own decision.
