Congrats indeed Grateful Is XM radio an Internet broadcast lafmom?

Sorry Cleveland Dad - It's XM Satellite. I don't think you can get that on the net.

The Ripken show is only on XM Satellite channel "MLB Home Plate". XM does have some content on their website, but it is only for subscribers.

I have listened to the show before and it's a really good show. I'll be sure to listen this weekend.

Thanks, all, for the support......we just finished taping the segment. It will air on Saturday morning. The show is on XM Channel 175 from 8-10am (Eastern Time Zone) this Saturday. They dedicate the last segment of each hour to youth sports. I believe this segment will be the last segment of the show.

Our topic of discussion was going to be the transition from HS to college baseball, but after they looked at my web site they seemed to want to discuss parents more than anything else.

It was fun, and they did say that we didn't have enough time, and that they would like to have me back on again.

I'll be able to sit at home and listen to it Saturday morning!!

As far as parents go....I had to admit to them that I had to evolve as a parent....some of what I know is from research, some is from observation, some is from doing internship hours, and some (the most humbling) is from being a most imperfect parent!

Thanks, rz1....those pics at UIC were taken in 2004, when both of our boys were freshmen.....I believe those were taken during the Saturday game.

Listened to Grateful and the Ripken brothers.......good job Gordie! Sounds as if there is a definite need for what you are doing....best wishes for your new business.....you've helped us in the past....know you will help a lot more families and their athletes....just don't forget to keep sharing on the hsbaseballweb!

Thank you ma'am!! You must have gotten up early on the west coast to listen to it.....but now T has his XM Radio....I love mine! I believe they replay the show tonight and tomorrow morning, unless they make schedule changes during the MLB playoffs.
