Michael Gunter improved his record to 3-1 at Angelo State University over the weekend. Here is an excerpt from the ASU Baseball site:

"Michael Gunter tossed a four-hit shutout in the nightcap of the double header as the Angelo State Rams baseball team (12-5) swept the two games from Northeastern State, 4-3, 3-0, Friday at Foster Field.

Gunter threw only 78 pitches in going the distance, allowing just four singles while striking out 11 Redmen and walking none. Gunter retired the last 14 batters he faced in order and never allowed a runner to advance past second base to improve his record to 3-1 on the year."

Congrats MMWS.

Thanks, guys. I appreciate it.

FO, it would be a lot more fun if I had more opportunity to go watch. Not much time left after coaching my younger kids, trying to get umpires trained, going to evaluate umpires, and having to umpire more than I wanted due to shortages. And if I got to watch Big Dog play.

Jim, I have blocked out next weekend so that I can go watch..............hopefully. See you there.
