. . . on his first collegiate "W" earned yesterday in his first college start, in which he threw 5 shut-out innings, and led his team to their first 5-0 start in 11 years. Very nice job indeed.

The best part is helping the team to a 5-0 start! Last year was a bit of a disappointment for the program, so getting off on the right foot this year was very important to building confidence.
