His big day is tommorrow at the high school when the "After the fact" signing takes place for the local paper and radio. He is very happy about his choice and the chance to do something different than his older brother.
The School, facilities, and coaches were wonderful. I can see why they have the tradition they have and we left with that warm cozy feeling.
Coach Jeff Smith is also the pitching coach and he was very impressive. Its good to have him signed and now he can work hard on having a great senior season.
The Pioneers have already signed six players for the 2004-05 season, three of which are pitchers.
Aaron Biggs is a left-handed hurler from Canada, and he is joined by right-handers David Strouthman and Dane Archer, a Henry County High product.
Strouthman is currently a senior at Pleasure Ridge Park High School, which is located in Louisville, Ky. His battery mate, Matt Stanley, is an incoming catcher.
Franklin County High School is also sending a pair of standouts to Volunteer State in shortstop Dustin Crabtree and outfielder Heath Puryear.
