DBAT 16 played NJ Super 17 in a pool game at the 17U WWBA Championships in East Cobb, losing 4-3 in a tight game. They went on to win several games in the elimination bracket and finished in the final 8 (of 110) teams. They lost to the Dirtbags, who were also in our pool and finished 2nd overall.

This should be a good game ---- GO PATS!

Ya the Patriots were ahead all the way till the 6th 3-1. The Super 17's scored two in the 6th to tie it up and Brian Dixon came in and struck out two in a row to get them out of a jam. Lunday pitched great and got a little tired in the 6th due to pitching four days before. The Patriots lost in the bottom of the 7th, full count lead off walk off bomb. The batter could have easily been rung up the two previous pitched but umpires do want to end the game too.
