Cool HS thread !! Easter weekend treat!!!

If you're in Phoenix during Easter weekend you may want to venture over to the Diamondback Chase Field Saturday April 3rd. The 2- time State Champions Mingus Marauders will be playing @ Chase field right after the D-Back-Cubs game at 3:30 to 4:00pm. Two feature players for Mingus SS/P Shaun Mc Carty currently hitting .615, great defensive skills and a strong arm. Centerfielder Hunter Zwart provides the power and the 6.6 -6.8 speed as lead off hitter. Hunter is currently hitting .444,3HR and slugging %of.889 Mingus also has some up and coming Sophmores and Jr's. There is no cost to attend the HS game at 3:30. Come enjoy the fun and sit in the big buck seats for free!!

And speaking of good taste...our family had a reunion in Phoenix during the Easter Holiday a few years back. It was hot...real, real hot...too hot.

It did not end well for our bunch...it was so bad we couldn't even hop, hop, hop down the bunny trail when it was all said and done.

After you watch this short film of our reunion you will understand why we won't be anywhere near Phoenix this coming Easter.

But thanks for the invite azallan. Hmmm Flagstaff...maybe we would have better luck there?

Hiding those Easter eggs. I've also been doing that for years 20dad...ever since our first kid was born over twenty years ago. He and his younger siblings have never found a single egg. I hide them really well. Tastefully done.

There they sit on my plate every Easter morning...



...in full view, yet never detected.

The key to my annual success is the greens. Once the kids see those sprigs tossed on top they lose interest in my breakfast...they never ask questions.
