Coppell - 0
Midland Lee - 1

10 innings and Lee won it on a squeeze play.

Correction: Lee won in the bottom of the 10th on a properly placed ground ball up the middle just past our pulled in infield. The bases were loaded on excellent two bunts and an intentional walk.

In the top of the 10th, Coppell had a chance to go ahead when a squeeze play didn't work and the runner was tagged out.

Great games with great pitching. Both Midland Lee pitchers were fantastic. Their game #2 pitcher showed a lot of guts by going all ten innings.

Coppell's Cameron Watten pitched a great first game for Coppell. Four of the five runs were unearned. Those four were in the 1st inning. In the 2nd game both Cole Green and David de la Chapelle pitched outstanding. I don't think you'd count the last run as earned either... so virtually shut out ball. Cole Green was his old self, or better. He struck out a string of hitters in the 4th, 5th or 6th leaving them completely dumbfounded.

TC, Congratulations to the Cowboys on a great season! Best wishes to Cameron and Trey. I did not get to see Trey play but Cameron is a tremendous ballplayer with all the tools to have great success at the next level. WOW!

It was my pleasure to get re-aquainted with you and the rest of the family. Keep in touch.
