When Sherman Reed took over the program they were college baseball’s biggest joke. They had on 0-for season. They had gone 4-125 over the previous three seasons. They were losing games by an average of about 13-2. They only had fourteen players on the roster. They had trouble scheduling non conference games. Teams didn’t want to waste their time.

it’s taken time to build credibility and recruit. In three of the last four non Covid seasons they’ve played over .500 in conference won a conference title and now a conference tournament.
