The Carroll Tigers, making their first appearance in the UIL state baseball tournament since 1993, beat Fort Bend Clements, 4-3, in the Class 5A semifinal game at Dell Diamond Friday night. After trailing 3 to 1 in the 7th inning. The Tigers explode for 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th to advance to the championship game against Klein Saturday at Noon on FSN. Carroll's first championship game since 1989. I still remember being there in 89. Wish I could go but I gotta work. One more try but in 5A for Corpus Christi. Hats off to Brenham. I saw them at their yearly tournament. Those guys r legit. I saw Klein when they played C.C Moody at the tournament. We lost 9-8 in the last inning. I've got my nephew that is lead off batter for Moody. It's on Youtube. That game. Those guys r legit also. That's the way it should be. Exciting! I love this time of the year. I sure hope you all had a great year. Gonna miss it. Well summer ball is here. Time to travel.
