hmmm, i thought I heard that Plano West was going to win state..... 
Maybe PW would have if the coach at 3rd base hadn't got in the way.
Rumor has it he was flipping his lucky quarter to decide if he was going to send the runner when the collision ocurred.

CC Carroll Sophomore Cortney Hawkins hit one of the furthest balls ever hit at Dell Diamond on Friday in the semi's against Clements. It went well up into the second deck in straight-away LF and was a line drive that was just starting to come down when it hit the concrete. Very impressive.
He's a national team player.. but he threw 140 pitches as a sophomore in the state final.. be interesting to see what he has left in two years...

I no from N. TX. Yeah my team made playoffs, won a 5A state championship not too many moons ago. Just ran into a buzz saw this year. Chill bro.

There is alot to be said about being mentally strong. It is something we spend a large amount of time on. The will to win is a strong indicator for success..
I thought this thread was dead, guess ctiger felt lonely.
as a matter of fact i was feeling a little lonely... thanks for asking.
Congrats again on such a great accomplishment! Having to play the regular season, then run that 6 week gauntlet that is the playoffs...just awesome coach! Good luck this season!!!
