Could use a lot of help

Okay, hey everyone, i just came here for some help in general about baseball. Baseball is an extremly fun thing for me, but unfortunatly, i don't have the background that everyone that plays does. I never played when i had the chance in little league, farm league, i just played in 7th grade, then stopped until now (junior year). The reason i stopped, i summed up is most likely because i shyed away from the foreign sport to me, that was so simple to everyone else. What i just came here to ask today is, just for any general small rules that aren't hilighted in the MLB on national television, and used in high school leagues, little tips that could go a far way for me, and just anything you guys think i missed out on that could be filled in on message boards..
