i heard that speed was a big thing colleges look for. is that true?

also, i tried looking at the tips, they are useful but how can i email coaches from several colleges? just to give them some feedback about me? how do i find there emails?

Speed is a condsideration at the college level, but you will find that most good college pitchers do not hit 90 mph but rather higher 80's with good control.

Colleges do look for foot speed for position players who are not power positions.
