CPS - Northside Prep Sophomore Robert Kennedy, Class of 2009 is mentioned in the January 7, 2006 Sun Times for Scoring 11 points and 8 rebounds in win over Lindblom on Saturday.

Kennedy is a two sport varsity basketball and baseball player and played with the Clubbers Baseball and Clubbers AAU Basketball programs over two seasons prior to high school. A product of the Welles Park program, where many talented of the Class of 2009 got their baseball start.

Great kid from a great family. And equally as fine of a student. I believe he was coached in the Welles Park program by the IL forums very own Sulltiger.

Ive been coaching and watching Robert Play since he was a nine year old. Hes a smart player with guts and determination. Doesnt get as much ink as some of the other 09s, but when its all said and done i believe Kennedy will be one of the top players in the public league by his senior season. Started on Northsides varsity as a freshman.

Kids like Kennedy and your son have made it a pleasure for me to coach.

I play with Rob at Northside and I would definately agree that he is super under rated. He's got a live arm and is easily one ofthe best sophomores in the Public League. I can't wait for him to graduate and continue his career in college.
