Tremendous school, tremendous baseball program, tremendous coach, Scott servais (sp)
They play in the Missouri Valley Conf
(maybe it's Ed Servais.... Not sure)

oh my son got a letter sent to his school today by this university. he checked out the website. it did look nice. not sure where they would have seen him or if they seen him. but nice.

My son received an email from Creighton requesting him to fill out a recruiting form. Must have seen his profile on line because we never solicited this school.

We have a BaseballMomandCPA here as well so it is always nice to increase the collective expertise on the board!

It's Ed Servais; Scott Servais was a catcher for the Cubs, I think they are cousins. Anyway, I heard Ed speak at a clinic one time and he was outstanding.
He has a very strong program in Omaha. I don't know if they will move into the new Stadium because I think Rosenblatt is being dismantled...???

Coach Servais runs a very disciplined program.

Some kids can't handle it, but the ones that can
I'm sure are better for it as players, and as men.

Big emphasis on speed, defense and pitching.

Weather is a bummer, but the city of Omaha is a neat place!

Pat Venditte has made quite a name for himself and is out of the Creighton program. Currently in the Yankee organization and played AA ball for the Trenton Thunder this year. I first started hearing about him while he was at Creighton. He is the only current pro player that pitches both lefty and righty. MLB umpires association actually created a new rule for "switch pitchers", because of Vendette.

Had a friend work there in the strength and conditioning department. Said Servais was a down to earth guy who treated people with respect.
