Criteria for Academic All District Teams?

I've never heard of it. The last 3 years in 9-4A there has not been such an animal.

TAPPS might have district.....but I'm pretty sure its a statewide thing?

UIL must have District...several of Weatherford's atheletes got it the last several years. Not sure what the requirements were though. Son got it last year for baseball and daughter got it in 05 for volleyball and basketball. I think it is a 3.0 or better. Believe state is 4.0. (at least for those schools with a 4.0 scale)

I don't know about district but 11 made 2nd team all state last year for foosball but I have no ideal what, when or how they pick or find the kids.

Where can we look up the requirements? We are in district 9-4A. It would be nice to see what it takes to be recognized.

I believe the criteria for the All-State Academic Team is to have an "A" average for all 4 years.

I believe the same is true for each year for the Academic All-District.

UIL would not handle any kind of "all-district" teams. That is handled by the districts' coaches. Hope this helps.
