Just received email that Coach Grimes is going to Peaster.

Usually strange for a coach to leave a 4A for a 2A (especially one that is in the district Peaster is in), but it very well could be a quality of life move. Peaster is a great community and baseball is down right now, but who is to say that the right coach might not be able to turn them around. Having a small classroom + a good administration may have been the reason for this move.

Coach was a good guy. All the kids loved him.
I don't have any insight, but the couple of times I've heard him speak, and from what I've been told by D, is that Grimes seems like a small town type of guy and Crowley has sort of changed since he got there 19 years ago.
Wish him well and we'll miss him.

It's a family move. Same reason why I'm at North Crowley. Our family wants to be in Tarrant County so we can be closer to family. Sometimes its not about wins and losses, it's about what momma wants...and when momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!
