Your WS backup catcher, Gary Bennett works out in the offseason where my son does. What a great guy. Always talking to the younger players and he is one of the most humble men I've met. I reminded him of a week he had last season (mostly playing the Cubs) where he absolutely wore them out. I said he deserved NL player of the week but he said he lost out to Carlos Beltran. Not too shabby.

itsrosy, yes, Bennett seems like a great guy. i haven't been able to meet him or talk to him as of yet. He had a few weeks that we all dream about having.
Regarding the weather, yes it's cold but nothing like what you guys are having. We had 4 inches of snow in Troy. Not bad. We're supposed to get another 2 inches on Saturday. BTW, I'M HAVING MY PRESEASON MEETING ON THE 21ST TO COLLECT TRYOUT INFORMATION. WE DO THIS DURING "ACTIVITY PERIOD." We will make sure that their physicals are on file, that they have filled out their tryout sheets and prepare them for the tryout process. I JUST CAN'T HARDLY WAIT.
