Diamondbacks have given free front row tickets - and free transportation and room/board to Bartman - for all of the games.

Its over.

Diamondbacks sweep.

Is it just me or are the Diamondbacks just more enthused and excited? I have noticed in this series and the Rockies series that the Diamondbacks and the Rockies are just excited and playing really hard. Is a matter of youth, style or leadership? Everybody talked about how Chamberlain and Hughes juiced up the Yankees, but it sure didn't look like it. I love it when a team comes out and plays like a bunch of kids.

Me too. I think we are going to see big changes in baseball, youth will replace the old guard. They will pay them little and keep them hungry.

BTW, Josh Beckett, former Marlin is just AWESOME!
TPM-I think we are also seeing the positive effects of the new drug testing policy. All those older relievers and 5th starters are out of the league because without the juice they can't compete anymore. All of the sudden there are spots opening up for the new kids. This year especially it looks like a lot of young kids are getting a chance.

This offseason will be interesting, Andruw Jones hit 222 and wants 20 million plus, be interesting to see who pays what for whom.
Not trying to hijack the thread...

That's a rather bold statement isn't it? Most guys from what I recall that tested positive were younger guys.

Watched a TWIB show recently that focused on the Latin influence and how they play the game like kids, great to see and I love watching guys like Reyes play, to play that hard and be that competitive and always be smiling is great!
