Excuses, excuses, excuses, excuses, excuses.

Why didn't they just forfeit the 3 games with their performance over the weekend?

To those of you that are waiting for Prior....CAN YOU SAY OVER-RATED!!!!!

Pathetic.

Hamburgers at c; 1st; 2nd; lf; and, rf. The guy in right field can't throw or catch "normally". Laughed like crazy when he fell and did summersault on a routine catch and almost banged the wall. What did they see in him to want to trade for him?

Worse than hamburgers on the mound!

Go White Sox!

Years of futility and jealousy made Sox fans hate the Cubs....you've heard it, seen it for years. Chants of "Cubs ****" when the Sox are playing divisional rivals and the Cubs are in Timbuktu.

The frustration of the Cubs fans has finally reached the point where the Sox are now the focus of the Cub fans (in a negative way) just as the Sox fans have always focused on the Cubs in a strange way.

Saw a great T-Shirt at The Stevenson Showcase.
Caption was "Who said the Cubs can't hit?" with a picture of Barrett punching the weazel.

More NONSENSE from a Cub fan.

Win a few games, Fast, then talk to us. Your "saviour" gave up 4 home runs in 3+ innings.

I hope Baker and Hendry stay with the Cubs FOREVER. You guys won't win for another 150 years!

The Chandler family knows what they are talking about re the Tribune Companies.
Sox,

Sorry to inform you but those fans cheering on the Tigers were visiting Tiger fans. They're fans traveled nicely to Wrigley to cheer on their boys, and that's a good thing. Fans that support their club on the road are some of the best. I heard the same watching the Braves Red Sox game. I know Atlanta fans don't have any passion, but it sounded like the game was being played in Fenway.

JP,

How you could expect the Cubs to help the Sox by beating the Tigers? The Cubs couldn't help the little sisters of the poor right now. My question for you regarding Jacques Jones is this, how did this player with so many flaws in his game do so well for so many year for the Twins? This guy looks like he was never taught how to play the game, and is just getting by on some athletic ability. I think that his acquistion by the Cubs this year has caused me to really question Jim Hendry's abilities as a GM more than any move to date.

I've got my own problems with the Phillies loosing contact with the Mets. I think the fat lady may have begun to sing already in the NL East.

Happy Fathers Day to All.
