how do you throw a cutter for a lefty. I have looked all over the internet but those grips dont really work, maybe i am doing them wrong. I hold my 4 seam as if you were looking directly at a ball in the middle, then i would move my fingers to the right to where the fat part is. Traditional 2 seam grip for me also. THANKS

Ok, here goes but I hope I don't confuse you. Look at the baseball to where you see the "smiley face." That is where we say if you drew eyes on the ball, you'd see the smile below it. Now, take your middle finger and put it on the side of the smiley face at the point where the smile starts to turn inward. Place your index finger on the ball also. However, you don't have much pressure on that index finger. Now, when you start to get your arm out and up, turn the middle finger nail white with pressure. Lift the index finger off of the ball. Throw this pitch hard like a fastball. Don't twist your wrist. It will run. Hope I explained this well enough.
