What is the deal on the merger between the Carolina Cyclones and the Diamond Devils? Two top level programs.

I'd like to hear about this too. I've heard that they both are having trouble fielding the top quality type of teams they are used to, and this is a way of making sure they put a great product on the field. Good move in my book if that's the case.
