You know, this is really disgusting. An early dbat try out on August 4th for the summer of 2014. Really, how about give it a rest. You can't be serious. How about let the arms and bodies rest. I sincerely hope no one shows up. Don't you think Sept or Oct makes more sense? Maybe let the parents take a break and a vacation before school. You guys never rest. Do you want my money right after the tryout also? Thank god the Dallas Mustangs separated from you guys. Shame, shame.

Oh, lets see brainiac one, competition, more teams vying for  talent, and with your organization, just trying to keep up with dbat, Mustangs, Patriots, etc.Everyone knows the money is not due until spring.

Oh, I agree with the ridiculous nature of tryouts in August, nevermind July 27th. On my 2007 team, we had tryouts in November for the few spots we had open.  But let me ask you this, oh courageous one hiding behind a moniker, why do you think it has moved up in the last 7 years? No money is due until Spring.

Why would I need to keep up with the Mustangs?  According to you and God they do it the right way and will not have early tryouts. And you answered the question. Competition, more teams vying for talent, etc...  The comical thing to me is that the parents have the ultimate control by not taking the bait; however, it is cast and taken hook, line and sinker every year.  Why do you think that is?  I am ignorant, so assist me with your wisdom.  Also, it's not MY organization. I am a pawn.

Stay with it HPtx.  It will only get better.  I'm just out of time right now.  I have got to get these checks cashed before I am found out and the parents cancel them.  We all live in Highland Park you know.  Oh wait, only one of us lives in Highland Park.  Nevermind.

There really is no fuss.  It's like a Gazelle attacking a Cheetah.  Looking at History, there is only 1 positive post from CourageDad1315 and it was on the hidden secrets of selling used pitching machines.  Tremendous and valuable insight if you are looking for advice on how to manage a garage sale.  Other than that, it is nothing more than a frustrated, wish I had been an athlete, my life is miserable so let me attempt to make others look bad individual, that continues to reduce the value of what this web site was originally intended for.  Once again, there are so many quality men in multiple organizations within DFW that do it the right way and for the right reasons. If you don't like how one does it, go some where else.

I have rented The Gabe Press Box for August 4.  I am going to bring kids and parents up following John's tryouts to discuss the 2015 summer.  I will collect their money with stories of grandeur regarding college scholarships and pro opportunities.  With one in law school at Vanderbilt and another in law school at Texas Tech, I need the money badly!!!!  We are all in it just for the money.

Van, you stole my thunder about getting the jump on the 2015 season.  Guess I will start my recruiting process for the boys coming up for 2016 and 2017.

Hey Guthrie, how's that boy of yours coming along.......?

Gage Guthrie and the 2nd grade Krum Bobcats are 2-0 in the North Texas Football League.  On his first touch, took it 49 yards for the TD vs Pottsboro in week 1.  All while putting a smack down on the white wings this past Sunday.  (ww = dove for the xbox players that don't get out much) And yes, it's tackle football with full pads.  Mean coach = mean dad!

Now back to the regular scheduled program.

BTW, we don't have those cool window stickers in Krum that show which team we play for.  But you can tell who we are by the blood dripping from the tailgate or the feathers flying out of our pick up trucks.
