One thing you have going for you is you will probably grow bigger and stronger. With work you could improve your foot speed and throwing velocity.

Your foot speed is adequate if you bring other tools to the table. Your velocity is inadequate for any level. You will be evaluated on tools: hit, hit for power, run, field and throw. Your mechanics and potential upside of each tool will be evaluated. You will also be judged on your baseball IQ/instincts and emotional composure.

TR asked you to PM him. I hope you did. He's located in the east and sometimes works with Canadian players.
What you're asking is,

"How tall is a tall building?"

It's a matter of perspective and we have no context for the achievement of your numbers. You are a sophomore. It means you have one season of HS baseball under your belt. Your question would probably be more appropriate after your summer season this year and for sure after next year.

Even though you want an answer, there is none yet, so continuing to ask won't help get you one.

Best of luck this season.

G-2304,

If you are asking if you can play college ball in the US, you have been given good prospective from the guys above, but you also need to get exposure in the US if you look to play in an area that does not recruit in Canada. As you may know there are a lot of colleges and there is a wide variety of skill levels, you may be able to find a place to play but it may not be at a top school nor it may not be in the geographic area that you desire.

Some of the ways you can evaluate your skills and colleges can evaluate you are to join a travel team which goes down into the US and play over the summer and/or fall, as well as, going to a top showcase where colleges evaluate you.

If you are not a pitcher, being a very effective hitter will be your key to success with your background of not having the fleet of foot nor a strong arm at this point, but there is always time to get stronger and faster.

Good Luck and Enjoy the ride!

As one of the previous post said, you have to get on to a travel team that plays in the States. That's where you need to be see. Have you heard of the PBLO. Here is a link to their web site. http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=pblo

I would not waste my time with any OBA rep team or anything to do with "Boys of Summer" as they don't provide enough exposure to US college scouts. They usually play at inferior tournaments.

I know of two teams that still has an opening on their rosters. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Good Luck!
