Can someone please answer this question? How does a player who is unhappy playing at a particular Division 1 school go about transferring to another D1 school? I know you have to get a release from your current school before another coach will speak to you, but can this be circumvented if someone "else" (friend, old coach, etc.) works as an intermediary or is this also against NCAA regulations? Players transfer all the time, but what's the best way to do make the move?
