May I ask the opinions of our experienced, knowledgable hsbaseballweb members on some summer league questions:
What are the top college summer leagues and teams? Based on organization, travel times, coaching, etc -- in addition to level of play, exposure to scouts, etc. Wondering about the overall experience (both baseball experience and life experience) that the player gets out of it?
Any knowledge of D3 players in any of these top leagues?
Any knowledge of how a player expresses interest to certain summer teams? Is it just through their college coach?
When do summer coaches contact potential players?
Thanks for any knowledge or thoughts on this topic. I searched the archives but couldn't find info. If someone has a link to past conversations about this on message board, that'd be great.
