Dad Who Gave Son Steroids Is Given 6-Year Sentence

Didnt hear about this. Im fairly new to this site. And my son is a high school senior. But I am so saddened by this whole supplement issue.Why are parents giving their kids things that could harm them to play baseball.there have been various posts about kids that weigh 150,160 and posters have said on this site eat more, take some creatine etc. etc.for those parents who believe in those supplements and various others go for it but dont advise others to do it. also my son will do it the old fashion way and if he doesnt make it life will go on. realizing how many kids take supplements he probabaly wont make it. this whole issue with the MLB , it effects the high school and college players. they see that they have to take stuff to compete so the kid figures he has to also. what kind of message are we sending to our young men. so very sad and disgusting.

I agree. The hockey dad that wacked out the other hockey dad in the stands only got 6-10 years state time. I was thinking 60 days for Gahan was more like it.

Wasn't this the same 13 year old boy who used to inline skate?

I used to aggressive skate at that age and me and my buds all subsisted on soda and pizza!

Seriously why the heck do you need stereoids for a sport like that?! We skated all day every day without supplements or other pharmacuetical enhancements.

Well is it a case of he got too severe of a sentence or drive by shooters and crazy hockey dad got to light of a sentence?
