Does anyone have any experience and or suggestions on how to handle a situation where a high school team has not 1 but 2 coaches who have sons on a team and appear to have only one agenda "To promote their own child"?

HSM: I'll give you my opinion, but could you answer some questions first?
You mean the head coach and an assistant coach have kids on the team?
Varsity, JV, Frosh level?
Public or private school?
Large or small?
Very good league championship level team, or less than that?
Their kids are Juniors or Seniors, or something less than that?
How many kids are bigger, faster, stronger and more skilled than the two coaches' sons at their respective positions?
Objectively speaking, your son is better? Was this in the opinion of a professional scout, coach from another team, or just your opinion?
Who keeps the stats?
If you are going to an athletic director, or are even thinking about having a discussion with a school official you had better have your ducks in a row, and think out the alternative scenarios.
