I don't have any first hand knowledge of players who have gone through this program, but the school is in my backyard here in North Texas. Son's club team played a tourney there last summer and players and parents alike were really impressed with the facilities. Beautiful ballpark, though all turf field, nestled in the middle of campus. Most of us had never seen the campus previously and were really surprised to find sort of a hidden gem here in town. I know of two players from our squad who made contact with DBU following that tourney. On field, the team has developed a strong reputation as a competitive program beginning to get some national attention via CWS exposure. Coach Heefner is an active recruiter in the area as well as South of the border and seems to be very well thought of. I don't know anything about the academic side of the equation at DBU.
DBU is a great program / school....one of our 2014's from our club team committed there, and another from another rival club team as well...know both kids / parents, and all are pleased with decision...very good reputation with regards to their baseball program.
PM me if you have any specific questions regarding the school or coaches....our club team has a pretty solid relationship with the DBU coaching staff.
