Dear Coaches, Parents & Players,
I would like to start off by thanking each of you for participating in the 18U TSL World Series. It is because of professional organizations like yours that events like the World Series can take place. I just wanted to pass this information along to all that participated and have upheld their responsibilities to the TSL and the tournament. We have a situation that has come up following the tournament and this will effect all of the organizations and teams that participate in TSL events. The Dallas Bombers Baseball Club has yet to pay and/or respond to any request to pay for the tournament. I was told for 2 months the check is in the mail - then the week before the tournament I was told the coach would bring the check with him. Still no payment. We work very hard and work many hours putting these tournaments together and expect for professional organizations that represent the youth and baseball to follow through with their financial obligations. I'm only offering this information because I want you all to know that this was our situation, and if you were to put on a tournament, then this could possibly be your situation. We all know that they were at the tournament and that they played all 5 games, so the TSL is due $1,000 for this event. Unfortunately, they will no longer be allowed to participate in any TSL events.
Thanks,
TSL Staff
